Maruti is getting bullish about the Indian car market in spite of a supposed economic downturn. Recent good car sales have also boosted the morale of the company. Now the company is planning to launch a revamped version of Zen Estilo. The work on the car is currently going on in the company workshop. The company is replacing its current engine with a 1.0L K-series engine which marks its presence in its new model A-Star. Maruti is likely to revamp all its models this year as there are no new upcoming cars from the company this year. By launching A-Star and Ritz recently, Maruti has strengthened its already admirable portfolio of small cars.The launch of the new Zen has also to do with the the Bharat IV emission norms which will come into effect from April 2010. The 1.0 Litre K Series engine of the new Zen makes around 67 bhp and comes with innovative technologies to reduce consumption and increase performance.
